No one can predict the future, but I will say this. Some things to think about:
1) China has no war experience, especially ground or naval warfare.
2) We have hundreds of bases around the world with multiple capabilities. They will not know where and what the next aspect is that will be coming at them.
3) Our submarine fleet can probably annihilate them by itself. They know that.
4) When the US brings its war machine to bare anyone, including Russia, will have to really think twice about supporting China.
5) Lastly, knowing a little about it, our space capabilities are the biggest unknown factor to the world.
