I have been researching elections for 2 1/2 years and I can tell you that all of this election stuff is crazy and unnecessary. Our country spends 10s of billions of dollars every year on machines, rules, litigation, and government security agencies (CIS, CISA, USPS, DHS, EAC, FEC, USAB, GSA, OES, NIST, New Election Task Force in 2021, DOS, OPM, not to mention CIA, FBI, DNI, NSA, NGB, DARPA, and NSC). Then the government gives money by the billions to NGOs to influence elections. There are dozens of other agencies with their hand in the pie.

I think "safe and secure" means paper ballots, one day voting, no machines, an election holiday, transportation for people that have no way to get to the polls, very strict absentee ballot program, and security by both parties at polling places and election offices until the job is done.

All PAC money has to stop. If a person has the money to give millions to a PAC, your vote is worth nothing. They are, in essence, buying votes.

The Federal Elections Commission website is full of fake donations using older peoples' names, most retired, showing they are donating many times a day, every day. Millions of that money is coming from overseas which is illegal.

What happens when an election can't be certified? Paper ballots are counted. Why? It's the most recognized secure way to determine the outcome.
