Really good people cannot fathom how evil really bad people can be. When confronted with the proof of it they still can't believe it. I don't blame people for not wanting to confront it. It's real though. If we don't confront it, it will only continue to spiral out of control.
Of course, it is easy to lock your doors and sit in front of your TV for your daily mental programming.
