Our administrative state is so out of control. We should be shutting it down. They want commercial fishermen to put a federal regulator on their boats and the owner pay their salaries. Why? ATF makes new rules as they see fit without any congressional laws. How? Bureau of Land Management takes land where ranchers have grazed their cattle for generations. What? Federal Department of Education withholds money if state school systems don’t align with how Washington beaurocrats think your child should be educated. The EPA regulates us to death.
All of these departments should be eliminated and these decisions returned to the states. Citizens are smart enough to make good decisions about how we should live our lives. Washington doesn’t agree.
